Plymouth have been successful in gaining a work permit for Zimbabwe international defender Onismor Bhasera.

Argyle will now have to apply for a visa for the 23-year-old left-back, who has been training at Home Park for the last few weeks.

The Pilgrims will also have to obtain international clearance for the former Kaizer Chiefs player.

Argyle head coach Paul Mariner said: "Having watched him work over the past few weeks, seen him interact with the players, and seen his technical ability, it became a very important step for the club to sign this young player."
